My Pretty New (Travel & Fashion Friendly) Purchase

So I was sitting here thinking about moving to China and trying to envision all different scenarios and what I plan to wear, my shoes, what purse I'll use. And when I thought of the purse, I thought uh oh.. I don't really have a great purse that is travel friendly but also stylish.

Lucky for me, as I was browsing blogs the other night, I came across a bag that I think is super cute & fits my stylish yet practical criteria. So with the last of my birthday money spent on this bag... and thanks to Revolve Clothing and their current 20% off code chictopia20, Foley + Corinna's Disco City Clutch in black is on its way to me! 20% off plus free shipping and no tax because I had it sent to my mom in CT... sweet!

I love that this bag can be used as a clutch (due to the removable strap), or with the strap with the top folded over, cross-body or just on your shoulder.

This is the type of bag that you really have to see on in order to appreciate. It's a reincarnation of Foley + Corinna's ever-popular City Tote. I also happen to own a smaller version of this bag, the Mid-City Tote in caramel. I love this brand - the leather is always so soft, wears well (I've had my other Foley + Corinna bag for over a couple years now), and best of all - they are Made in the U.S.A.!

Anyway, I can't wait to get my new Disco City Clutch in the mail & I will be sure to post an outfit of the day with the purse so you guys can see it. If you are a traveler and you are looking for a good, stylish bag for travel, this is your bag!

Check out one of my new favorite blogs, Electric Fringe. I love her style and her super cute outfit (pictured below) is what inspired me to buy this bag! Disclaimer: This is NOT me in the picture

Don't you just love how she wore it with a blazer, boyfriend jeans and killer heels? (and special thanks to Kristin for letting me reference you and your blog!)

Thanks for reading!
